Periodic maintenance
Keep the car in the condition it was sold to you in.
- Scheduled servicing to your make’s interval
- Oil, filters, fluids and belts
- Brake and safety inspection
Fifteen years of Volkswagen service management, now behind an independent workshop that takes every make — petrol, diesel and electric. Main-dealer standards, itemised estimates you approve on your phone, and no dealer mark-up.
Our founder spent them writing the process sheets, training technicians and signing off final inspections. That's the standard the bay runs on.
German, Japanese, Korean, Indian. Diagnostics, body, paint and electrical under one roof — you're not sent across town for the next job.
We source OEM and genuine parts and show you the invoice. If a quality aftermarket part is the sensible call, we'll say so and let you choose.
Salem is buying electric faster than its workshops are learning them. We are building for that deliberately rather than waiting to be caught out.
Servicing, mechanical, body, paint, protection, detailing and insurance — handled in one place, for every make. Every job opens with a photographed inspection and an itemised estimate before a spanner is touched.
Keep the car in the condition it was sold to you in.
Diagnosed properly before it is quoted, not guessed at.
Better control on the road, longer life out of a set of tyres.
From a car park dent to a full repaint, colour matched to the code.
Protect the paint you just paid for, and keep the cabin worth sitting in.
The paperwork side handled so you are not the one chasing anybody.
An EV doesn't need an oil change. It needs someone who understands a high-voltage system, knows why the brake pads last four times longer and wear differently, and can read a battery's state of health instead of guessing at its range.
Salem is buying electric faster than its workshops are learning them. We are building that capability deliberately, the same way the rest of this workshop was built — properly, and without pretending.
The worst part of leaving your car at a garage is the silence. Every JP Garage job runs on a digital job card — photographed inspection, itemised estimate, line-by-line approval from your phone, and progress updates until it's back in your hands.
Call or WhatsApp with your make and what's wrong. If you're in Salem city, we'll collect the car — no charge.
A full check on the lift, every fault photographed, then an itemised estimate sent to your phone. Nothing starts before this.
You go through it line by line and approve what you want done. Decline a line and we leave it — and tell you honestly how long it can wait.
Road-tested, washed and dropped back. Old parts returned if you want them, warranty on the work in writing.
JP Garage isn't a chain and isn't a franchise. When you hand over your keys, you're handing them to the people whose name is on the board.

Jaya Prakash spent fifteen years in Volkswagen authorised service, the last of them as Service Manager for the region. He built the process sheets, trained the technicians, and put his signature on the final inspection of more cars than he can count.
He opened JP Garage because he believed the standard could travel and the overhead didn't have to. Every car that comes through this bay is checked the way he was trained to check it — regardless of the badge on the bonnet.
Jaya Prakash's twin brother and co-founder. His career has been in automotive insurance, which means he knows precisely how a claim gets approved — and the small, avoidable things that get one rejected.
He runs the insurance side of the business — cashless claim support when your car arrives on a recovery truck, and bumper-to-bumper renewals when the policy is due. The estimate, the photographs and the surveyor's visit line up the first time, so you aren't the one chasing anybody.
Any workshop worth trusting will let you walk the floor. Drop in unannounced — the bay is clean or it isn't, and you'll be able to tell in ten seconds.
